Refresh Renovations Surrey-Hampshire transforms homes across the region with a wide variety of renovation, refurbishment and extension services enacting the likes of kitchen and bathroom re-modelling, extension building and room conversions. The team is headed by James Teague and his project manager partner, Karen Blackburn.
James’ background perhaps isn’t typical for a renovations expert, as professionally he spent over 30 years working as a sign maker. A career he embarked upon straight from school, he worked his way up through a local sign company and since then has flourished to work on hundreds of projects and with a wide variety of materials. Of course, such roles have seen him work heavily with a myriad of stakeholders – which places him well to deal with varying homeowners and property projects. Indeed sign making projects are not always as straightforward as many may assume, as lots of third parties and subcontractors are involved. This is also the case with lots of property renovations; changing situations and ever-developing events that all need to be managed efficiently! James has worked all over the country as a sign maker and has been involved with plenty of recognisable household names. He works to the mantra that customers should never have to chase for information and so strives to keep all involved parties up-to-date at all times and communicating clearly.
At home, James lives with his partner, Karen, their three children, a dog and a cat. He’s a keen spectator of Formula 1 and has been to a few of the events live. He’s also a keen gardener and a bit of a self-professed ‘business junkie’, liking to keep up-to-date with the latest in the business world and reading up on current affairs.
James was introduced to Refresh Renovations by his partner, and despite having no first-hand renovations experience himself, is looking forward to rising to the challenge. Combined with Karen’s project management expertise, the team is truly customer-focused and delivers unrivalled service.
