Nick Leko has enjoyed a twenty-year career in residential Architecture. Prior to joining Refresh, he worked as an Architect in New York City, working on large scale projects including luxury hotels and chic apartments. Since returning to Wellington in 2001, he has worked with some of Wellington's most notable architectural practices. Today Nick has his own practice - Leko Architects. Leko Residential Architects has renovated and restored many client homes, collaborating with a strong network of reputable builders and specialised sub-contractors.

Nick is also a partner of FIT Architects, a commercial practice concentrating on public architecture. Unlike a number of professional Architects, Nick is extremely client-focused. He chooses to understand the ways in which his clients live and the types of lifestyles that they lead.

Nick’s decision to join ‘Refresh Renovations’ as a home renovation consultant, enables him to share the benefits that a nationwide professional brand can offer his clients. Benefits such as the tremendous buying power of building supplies and an increased network of trusted builders and sub-contractors from the Wellington residential construction sector.

In his own time, Nick and his family enjoy the creativity of designing and restoring their own family home, a character residence from the 1930's Arts and Crafts era.
